The heavy garlic and spices in Korean food generally goes well with red wine, though one thing to keep in mind is to be careful not to choose something complicated for dishes like bulgogi, as it already has a sweet-soy-garlic marinade. An Australian Shiraz will be less complex than its Old World counterpart; go for a Chianti if you prefer a lighter wine.
